“Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside, awakes”.

- Carl Jung

Welcome.

Taking the step to seek counselling can feel daunting, especially if you are unsure about what sort of help you need.
Talking things through in a safe and confidential space with a trained outsider can be life-changing. It can transform your thought patterns, make your feelings clearer and support you through difficult periods in your life when things may feel too much to manage on your own.

We work together…

Talking therapy can help free us from old patterns that have held us back, allowing us to move on to live more fully.

Perhaps there is something specific you would like to explore further to gain more clarity or feel there is something deeper and harder to understand. I work relationally, which means offering a safe space in which you feel comfortable to share. We can think about your current and past experiences and how they are impacting your life and relationships in the present.

Whatever your needs, we can decide together what you feel will benefit you. My main aim is to help you on your own path to self-discovery.

Therapy options…

I am a BACP registered psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone sessions. I also offer a limited number of walking therapy sessions for those who prefer to be outdoors.

I am based in West Sussex and have a therapy room in Chichester city centre.

I offer short and long term counselling, depending on your needs, but often people like to come every week to begin with.

If you would like to find out more about having counselling with me, I offer a free initial telephone consultation where we can talk about what you feel you would like support with.

Sarah Quarrie West Sussex therapist counsellor

About me…

I’m an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and a registered member of The British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP).

I work with young people and adults experiencing a very broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, abuse, relationship issues, anger management, childhood trauma, family dynamics, eating disorders, racial discrimination, separation and divorce, identity issues, infertility, self-esteem, self-harm, sexuality, and substance dependency.

In accordance with the BACP guidelines, I continue to support my work with regular supervision and undertake ongoing training. I also adhere to the BACP ethical code and comply with GDPR legislation.

Most importantly I offer people the opportunity to experience a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment to explore things that may feel hard to navigate alone.
